You've heard it said before, but now you can truly have your cake and eat it, too. I've created special tips for luscious desserts in which the taste has been heightened, while the calories and fat have been lightened. Embrace lean and luscious in desserts too.
1. Add fiber to cakes by replacing half of the flour with whole wheat flour.
2. Using wheat germ as a topping for cakes and also as a substitute for ground nuts.
3. Fruit also adds fiber in addition to adding flavor, moistness, and important vitamins.
4. Vanilla adds a sweet, rich flavor to desserts, tricking your taste buds into thinking foods are sweeter than they really are.
Hi there! I have ventured over from Thumpin’ Thursday. Thrilled to be connecting with someone new!

Adelina, wheat germ is crunch and comes in many different shades. It looks great on cakes that call for a nut topping.
