These
quick, easy bars make a great dessert or a unique and nutritious
breakfast-on-the-go. Imagine having your cereal, milk, and fruit all rolled
into one delicious bar.
1 cup rolled oats, uncooked (3 ounces)
⅔ cup nonfat dry milk
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Dash ground allspice
¼ cup raisins
1 cup applesauce (unsweetened)
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ teaspoon almond extract
Gather ingredients and preheat oven to 350°.
In a large
bowl, combine oats, dry milk, baking powder, baking soda, and spices.
Mix well.
Stir in raisins.
