Chicken in White Wine


White wine and herbs give this easy dish a truly gourmet taste. The leftovers make a great sandwich, either hot or cold.



Makes 4 servings

1          pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
½         cup dry white wine
2          tablespoons grated onion
½         teaspoon celery salt
½         teaspoon pepper
¼         teaspoon dried thyme
¼         teaspoon dried marjoram
¼         teaspoon dried rosemary, crumbled 

Gather your ingredients.


Combine all ingredients except chicken in a small bowl.


Place chicken and pour marinade in a large ziplock bag.


Marinate in the refrigerator several hours, turning bag several times.

Preheat oven to 350°.  Place marinated chicken breasts in shallow baking pan.  Pour marinade over chicken.


Bake chicken, uncovered, 1 hour, basting several times.
