Herbed Yogurt Dressing

Nonfat yogurt makes a delicious, creamy base for salad dressings. Be creative and vary the herbs and spices, and you can create lots of different flavor combinations. 

 



Makes 8 servings 
(2½ tablespoons each serving)

2           teaspoons canola oil
1           cup plain nonfat yogurt
2           tablespoons red wine vinegar
1           tablespoon minced onion flakes
½          teaspoon dried oregano
½          teaspoon dill weed
⅛          teaspoon garlic powder
             Salt and pepper to taste


Gather your ingredients.


 Stir oil into yogurt.


Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.


Chill several hours to blend flavors.


Stir before serving.
