Made with pure fruit juice, here's a healthy Halloween treat you can encourage the kids to eat. I’ve doubled this recipe for a Halloween party!
Makes 4 squares
3 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1 cup water
½ cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
Gather you ingredients.
Sprinkle gelatin over water in a medium saucepan. Let soften a few minutes. Heat
over low heat, stirring frequently, until gelatin is completely
dissolved and then remove from heat. Or you can boil the water in the
microwave, and stir in the gelatin until dissolved.
Stir in orange juice.
Pour mixture into a 4 x 8-inch loaf pan.
Chill several hours.
Use Halloween cookie cutters or cut into squares to serve.
As a variation, substitute grape juice concentrate for the orange juice as the “black” color for Halloween.
