Fall Family Favorites

Fall is my favorite time of year, and I love using seasonal produce in my recipes. These 3 recipes focus on fresh seasonal produce that your family will be sure to enjoy.

1. Apple Crisp: Few can resist my apple crisp. The milk baked right into the topping adds a delectable flavor. This is a comfort food they'll love.

2. Sautéed Apples: Any variety of apples will work in this easy dish; however, the length of cooking time may vary.  It tastes best when the apples are cooked until just tender, so be careful not to let them get mushy.

3. Chocolate Zucchini Cake: Similar to brownies, this luscious cake is moist and tender and very rich-tasting. The versatile squash reigns again!

4. Pumpkin Apple MuffinsMoist, tender, and filled with fruit and spices, these muffins will grace your holiday table or please your family all year long.

  1. These all look so good! I've never tried sauteing apples before, but it sounds pretty good and simple. Thanks for sharing on Foodie Friday

    1. Adelina, sauteing apples is very easy. I even like putting them in a pie crust and making an even sweeter apple pie!
